Bank holiday in Kent

Our first Bank holiday of the summer was spent in relaxed fashion with Dean and Helen. We overate, rambled hard along country lanes, tried our best to wear out the tennis court at our B&B sanctuary, were tempted into a shade of sunburn and the traffic was very considerate and quiet.

B&B in style

The Riley's on the tennis court at the Hoo farm house near Canterbury.
Rambling to the white cliffs of Dover, picnicking, boat watching and more rambling.

Rambling around Minnis Bay

On the beaten track among the rapeseed oil.

Old and new - church on the site of a roman fortification overlooking 20 new turbines off the coast.

Grass snake basking in the midday sun.

Morris dancing in Whistable
