Not game to drive in Rome, we trained north to
Chusi and picked up a rental car. From there we
tiki toured to our digs near the UNESCO world heritage town of
Pienza - postcard perfect! We had a couple of bonuses along the way - our very nice hosts offered to teach us to make pasta one morning and also when we went to
Sienna, the
Milga 1000 was taking place - a 1000 mile trek across Italy for those with a flash enough car and a fat enough wallet.
